Boating First Aid Kit

Safety is the most important thing in boating. You should always be prepared before you go boating. You should have with your complete list of first aid kits that you may need in case of emergencies and accidents during your navigation. Make sure that you purchase the needed safety equipment for safe boating. Here are some lists of first aid kits and safety equipment that you should always have on your boat.

1. You should carry with you the Admiral First Aid Kit. They are used for emergency purposes encountered when boating or sailing. The kit has adhesive strips, accuband motion sickness bands, butterfly closures, cotton, eye irrigate, aspirin tablets, hot and cold packs, elastic bandages, first aid burn cream, gauze pads, ammonia inhalants, gauze bandages, rescue blankets, trauma dressing, scissors, tweezers, medical tape, and an instruction booklet.

2. Another popular boating first aid kit is the Small Craft First Aid Kit. It is a conventional first aid it mostly used by long distance sailors. It comes up with a resistance case and a water resistant covering. This kit features a complete listing of boating first aid supplies like aspirin and ammonia inhalants. It also features the same medical kits like the Admiral First Aid Kit.

3. You may also purchase the marine medical first aid kit. You should have this kit if you expect an extended period in the water. The product list in this kit will provide the initial remedies in case of injuries or medical needs while you are aboard. It also features the same list of supplies just like the Admiral First Aid Kit and the Small Craft First Aid Kit. The difference is seen only on the quantity of supplies featured in this kit.

4. An affordable boating first aid kit is the First Mate First Aid Kit. It features some basic first aid supplies such as aspirin tablets, adhesive strips for the fingertips and knuckles, alcohol wound wipes, and the PVP iodine ointment for wounds.

5. You may also acquire the 63 Boat Medical First Aid Kit for an affordable price. It comes with the same medical supplies featured in the First Mate First Aid Kit with first aid burn creams, Healinop tablets, scissors, gauze pads, sting relief small towels, and sunburn treatment cream.

It is important that you consider safety precautions when boating to prevent any accidents while you are aboard. Educate yourself and your passengers on how to use the first aid kits in case of emergencies. Always prepare yourself before you get on board your boat.
